PracEasy ("we", "us") provides practice-management software for Chartered Accountant firms in India. This policy explains what data we process when you use praceasy.in and related services.

1. Information we collect

• Account data — firm name, contact name, email, phone, city/state, and login credentials for firm staff and client portal users.
• Practice data — client records, services, tasks, documents, billing notes, and related operational information that firms enter into PracEasy.
• Usage & device data — IP address, browser type, approximate location (when attendance/geo features are used), and product usage logs needed for security and support.

2. How we use information

We use data to provide the product, authenticate users, support firms and clients, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

3. Sharing

Data is shared only with subprocessors needed to run the service (hosting, email, storage) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law. Client portal access is limited to the firm that invited the client and that client's authorized users.

4. Storage & retention

Production data is hosted in India. We retain account and practice data while the firm subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes, or legal requirements, then delete or anonymize it.

5. Your choices

Firm admins can update staff and client portal users inside the product. For access, correction, or deletion requests, email support@praceasy.in.
